Inauguration of the Women Study Cell 2025

On March 26, 2025, Peet Memorial Training College officially inaugurated the activities of its Women Study Cell. The ceremony began at 10:00 am with a prayer song performed by the college choir, followed by a welcome address from the cell’s coordinator, Dr. Elizabeth Joshua.

The session was presided over by Dr. Alie Molly Verghis, with Ms. Jubi Abey introducing the day's distinguished guest. The formal inauguration was conducted by Dr. Sreevindha Nair N., Associate Professor at NSS Training College, Pandalam. During the event, both Dr. Sony Mary Varghese (Staff Secretary) and Mrs. Beena A. (Headmistress of AOMMLPS, Mavelikara) delivered felicitations.

The program also included significant charitable initiatives led by Dr. Sreevindha Nair N., including:

  • The donation of a bicycle to an exemplary student from B.H. H.S.S., Mavelikara.

  • The sponsorship of a comic book subscription for a local school.

Interspersed with cultural performances by the students, the event fostered an atmosphere of community and empowerment. The proceedings concluded at 12:30 pm following a vote of thanks by Ms. Lekshmi H.

On September 30, 2024, the English Association of Peet Memorial Training College, known as LITERATI , hosted the highly anticipated third season of its "Mock Press" competition. Held in the college auditorium under the guidance of convenors Dr. Alie Molly Varghis and Dr. Velayudhan Nair T, the event challenged students to step outside their comfort zones by adopting the personas and mannerisms of various celebrities.
