Inauguration of the 'Dyuthi' College Union & Arts Club 2025

The official inauguration of the Dyuthi College Union and the Arts Club at Peet Memorial Training College took place on February 3, 2025, at the college auditorium. The event commenced at 10:30 am with a performance by the college choir followed by an opening prayer led by Rev. C.I. Jose.

The formal proceedings were initiated by Dr. Sony Mary Varghese, the College Union Advisor, who welcomed the gathered guests and students. The meeting was presided over by the College Union Chairman, Mr. Sefon Sanu Mathew. The union was officially inaugurated by Mrs. Shanthi Ajayan, the Ward Councilor of Mavelikara Municipality, who performed the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and delivered a keynote address emphasizing the importance of student leadership.

Simultaneously, the Arts Club was inaugurated by Rev. C.I. Jose, who shared an inspiring message regarding the role of creativity in education. To honor the guests, Principal Dr. Alie Molly Verghis presented them with commemorative mementos.

The session also included celebratory felicitations from various representatives:

• Dr. Elizabeth Joshua on behalf of the teaching staff.

• Mr. Biju David representing the non-teaching staff.

• Mr. Adith Rajesh, the former chairman of the 'Pravedga' College Union (2023-2024).

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Union Vice Chairperson, Ms. Vismaya Vinod, and ended at 12:30 pm with the singing of the National Anthem.
