The 2024 College Union Election at Peet Memorial Training College commenced following a notification from the University of Kerala on September 5, 2024. After the scrutiny of nominations by the Returning Officer on October 10, it was noted that one application for the University Union Councillor position was rejected due to age eligibility requirements. Consequently, 11 of the 15 union seats were filled unopposed, leaving three specific roles—Vice Chairperson, Arts Club Secretary, and two Lady Representative vacancies—to be decided by ballot.

In preparation for the vote, a "Meet the Candidates" session was conducted on October 16 at 1:30 pm. During this assembly, nearly all contestants delivered speeches ranging from two to 14 minutes, outlining their electoral promises and soliciting support; Sandra Saju S, a candidate for Lady Representative, was the only participant who did not deliver a message. The election itself took place on October 18 in the Natural Science classroom, followed immediately by the counting of ballots at 12:30 pm. Under the supervision of the Returning Officer and counting agents Shafina Kabeer and Roshna Sabu, the process was swiftly completed by 12:45 pm. The official results were declared by the Principal, Dr. Alie Molly Verghis, on October 23, with the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for October 25, 2024.
